1988 Jeep Wagoneer Wood grain Additional Info:
Thank you for looking. This Jeep was given to me a few years back by my father when I needed a car.My father and brother together were the second owners,I'm the third.I don't drive it now. It has no tags so you will need to bring a trailer or figure out a way to transport it. It does run,lot of work and has been done to it in the past 2 years! It does have a few problems and cosmetically is falling apart then again it is 30 years old! I only accept payment via paypal or cash in person no checks!Whole front end brake system was replaced few months ago. Starter is new. Radiator was replaced 2 years ago and so was the battery, wires, plugs ect. Want say something with the heater was just replaced but the heater works great,no AC. Oil was changed not to long before I stoped driving it.Driver side window comes out of frame if you roll it down so don't use it. Passenger window is temperamental .back windows are fine.Power locks I think still work.Drivers side of the windshield, the framework just came loose, then out as you can see in picture. But water doesn't leak in.water does leak through front passenger side door. This is not a problem if you park outside at a angle then water doesn't tend to leak in. The biggest deal here is when driving yes it has the death rattle! But its sporadic and seems to kick in between 45MPH and 55MMPH.If you are driving slower or faster it rarely happens. If you keep the oil changed it helps. It may get real sensitive were it does it all the time. Then you can drive it for 6-8 months it not happen at all. And the spedometer according to my father is off by 5MPH.Theres also a wire, looks like hard rubber tube that snapped free.hangs loose just around the center rear axle. I don't remember what it is or for but my mechanic said it wasn't a big deal as long as I didn't drive through really deep water. The lights, replaced one of them last year. There hard to turn off now. The plastic framing behind the switch has "caved in" making it tricky to turn them off.I'm sure theres other stuff I'm forgetting but thats probably the main details. Any questions let me know. Thanks!Last note: I only drove this vehicle locally, never out of town. Pretty much just to get to work. The seats still work I believe I can check this for you. The interior light comes on for all passenger doors but is temperamental with driver door. Warning notification for your seat belt got to the point it would not stop "dinging" even if your seatbelt is on so I cut the wire to the little speaker to get quite and my sanity! stereo is obviously the only thing that not original and the face plate can be removed. Nice cd player but the speakers are not so great. Anything else let me know or ask. I try to be as thorough as I can.And yes the rear view mirror came loose as you can see it resting on the dash! Also back door will not hold its self up anymore you need vice grips or something. And the Jeep logo thats missing on the drivers side,I have it if you want to reattach it.IMPORTANT NOTE: Since I listed this for sale in the past month or so I have issues now getting the vehicle started. The starter is brand spankin new! The Battery is only 2 years old. I jumped it and it was fine. Then it wouldn't start again. Took it to auto zone.they charged it and said it was fine. Put back in the Jeep it stared right up. Next day won't start.now can't get it to even take a jump.maybe the alternator?? Anyway it runs once you figure it out between the battery and the alternator.
