1987 Jeep Wagoneer Additional Info:
This auction is for a 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer with a 5.9L 360 V-8 engine with approximately 105,211 original miles. I currently use the car as a daily driver and it gets me where I need to go, but please understand this is an old vehicle and things do go wrong. So if you are not knowledgeable in old vehicles and have little patience this may not be the car for you. This past winter this Wagoneer was able to get me from my house in Salt Lake City, Utah up through Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon for skiing and just made a roundtrip 1,300 mile drive from Pennsylvania to New Hampshire. I am selling this car because although it can get me around places and I love it, I am moving and will no longer need it. I have been working on this jeep over the past year from having it repainted to having new 3M decals put on it. If you are looking for a 30+ year old completely restored Grand Wagoneer that has never seen snow or salt during its lifetime - this Grand Wagoneer is not for you. It has spent most of its life in Pennsylvania. I did my best to take detailed pictures and showing AS MUCH of the Wagoneer as possible. Some rust spots are resurfacing and the decals are bubbling in some areas. The first owner of this Wagoneer purchased it with 2 miles on the odometer in 1987 - and stored it inside most of the time. My father has been restoring Jeeps since 1975 and both myself and him spent time on this. His Jeep restorations are highly desired by buyers and has been on eBay since 1999 - so you can bid with confidence. If you have any questions please feel free to ask away and I will reply as soon as possible. Please be patient.

The following minor items are required to complete the vehicle restoration :
-You will need to purchase a new spare tire
-All 30+ year old window motors are very tired and very slow. The tailgate and passenger door motors were working until a few weeks ago - and I would recommend that all motors be replaced
-A/C was blowing ice cold until the blower motor relay decided not to work earlier this year - I am including the parts for this repair to be made
-Cruise control does not work because the yellow cruise control module has malfunctioned. I have one that I will include with purchase.
-There are areas where water has gotten into the car (lower left area of gas and brake pedals on drivers side, lower right area of passenger side, lower right and left of trunk area)
-Power side mirror control switch does not work all the time because of poor wiring connection - and will need to be diagnosed -The Y connection of the exhaust has cracked and will need to be replaced since the exhaust isn’t flowing through the catalytic converter. The car currently runs quite loud, but still drives fine. I have tried fixing it with exhaust tape/ exhaust cement, but due to the high heat when driving it came apart again. I had the new Y-Pipe repair valued at $125 (excluding labor)
-2 decals “V-8” and “Grand Wagoneer” and currently on the car, but the rest have not been put on due to cold weather and me not getting to them when there’s warm weather. I will include the other decals with purchase.
I am more than happy to work with the buyer to have the vehicle shipped thru Quicken Auto - or the shipper of your choice. Thank you and bid with confidence.
