1981 Jeep CJ Additional Info:
This is a 1981 Jeep CJ7 with frame off restoration. There is no rust on frame or body. It has a 360 V8 that has been rebuilt last yearand a 4 speed tranny that switches smoothly (clutch kit also replaced last year). It also has a new Edelbrock 4 Barrel Off RoadCarburetor installed. The Jeepruns great and sounds awesome. There is no steering death wobble as in so many Jeeps and the 4wd works nicely, although I do not use it much (I mostly enjoy just riding). The body does have acouple wrinkles in it but I added diamond plate which mostly covers them and it enhances the look as well (it has no rust to hide).
- New Soft Top
- Comfortable Neoprene Front Seats (not covers)
- Heavy Duty Radiator (see pic)
- Stainless Steel Braided Lines
- New Steering Components--Tie Rod, Tie Rod Ends, Steering Stabilizer, Etc..
- New Body Bushings (also have a 3 inch body lift I did not install)
- 33" tires
- Painless Wiring (Great to have)
- HEI Electronic Ignition
- Heavy Duty Shackles
- Power Steering
- Dual Side Exhaust (sounds amazing)
- Diamond Plate (not hiding rust)
- LED Brake Lights
- I am sure there ismore so feel free to ask
I drive the Jeep any chance I get so miles will go up some. I enjoy the free feeling of having the top off on a beautiful day and just riding to nowhere in particular. This will make someonevery happy. The reserve is lower than what it can be sold for, but we areneeding to rid of a couple toys due to some family obligations. Do not hesitate to ask me any questions, and I will get back to you promptly. Do not let this one get away as it will be hard pressed to find one at this price with all the upgrades and the frame restoration. I spent much time and money on it.
I do require a $2000 Deposit within 24 hours, and the rest within 7 days unless specifically worked out with me in advance.

Just wanted to mention the fuel gauge works, butit is not accurate, and the carb may need a little adjusting to get it just right but it is nothing big...just little things to mention. Keep in mind it is a 1981 Jeep and not aCadillac..haha. It is a fun Jeep to drive around and I will miss it.
