"America's Grandest Selection of Grand Wagoneers"
Grand Wagoneer by Classic Gentleman, internationally recognized as a leading buyer, restorer and seller of low mile, excellent condition Grand Wagoneers, presents this stunning 1986 Spinnaker Blue Grand Wagoneer with only 112,014 original miles. (That is just 2,900 miles per year, on average). And all of those miles are from the rust free, no road salt states of Texas and Nevada.
She is one of our professional color conversions into the ever popular and never seen Spinnaker Blue Metallic. This special color was offered in 1991 by Grand Wagoneer and in that year, just 25 were painted this lovely medium flavor of blue. Like our Hunter Green color conversions, chances are you may never come across another Spinnaker Blue Grand Wagoneer. The completion of a full professional color conversion nearly doubles the average time it takes to apply new paint and wood to a Grand from four weeks to nearly eight. Time consuming elements beyond the normal include; removing of the doors and hood and stripping away the old faux wood and trim, painting all interior metal surfaces that were required by the factory to match the exterior, and we even remove the old floor carpeting and paint the floor metal to match the new chosen color. We do not remove the engine but we do paint all accessible engine bay areas.
The just applied paint of course is not the only beautiful part of our presentation here but it is worth a wow. We installed new wood siding and trim from Team Grand Wagoneer along with a new grill frame, plus refinished wheels and fresh whitewall tires. New window wipes were installed along with replacement of exterior chrome flexible pieces. The center wheel caps, bumpers and remaining exterior chrome pieces, whilst not new, remain in very good condition. A new windshield has also just been fitted.
The honey leather interior is in beautiful condition, just like the outside wrapper. All new floor carpeting has just been installed, including the cabin space and the cargo area. Custom Grand Wagoneer floor mats are included to protect your new carpeting. To top the interior off, a new headliner has also just been fitted. The cabin is loaded with options and they include, power seats, power windows, power mirrors, power door locks, along with the all important air conditioning, right down to the original AM/FM/Cassette player. Just the cruise control, poorly designed by a Detroit engineer with little engineering skill, is dormant.
We followed our normal regiment of mechanical and electrical sorting to insure a happy owner's experience and she is performing just as she should. In fact, interesting side bar here, both our mechanics and paint & body staff said this was one of the cleanest incoming examples they have worked on in recent memory.
Until our purchase, this 112,014 original mile Grand lived almost her entire life in Texas and Nevada. She has never seen a piece of road salt and down to that has one of the best undercarriages you will find. You will also notice from our photo array images taken of the rust free floor pans. Carfax and Autocheck confirm the low miles and no accidents reported against this vintage Wagoneer. She also has an Actual Mile Title.
Why buy from a Grand Wagoneer specialist? For us the answer is simple- our entire focus is on Grand Wagoneers and we know these unique vehicles inside and out. When you purchase a Classic Gentleman Wagoneer it has been thoroughly inspected and all necessary work completed by professional mechanics, some with over forty years of Wagaoneer experience. We purchase fine example Jeeps from a variety of sources including other dealers and private parties. We are often told by the seller, “My Jeep is excellent and needs nothing” however, being in this profession, we know to expect and plan for a great deal of sorting.
Remember the average age of these vehicles is thirty years more or less, and even with loving care many mechanical parts have aged and worn accordingly. Purchase a Wagoneer from a source other than a specialist and odds are that you may experience servicing and repair costs that may dampen your joy and enthusiasm for that Wagoneer that you always wanted. You may only own one of these in your lifetime, while we buy, fully sort and sell dozens and dozens per year. That is a lot of practice and when a Classic Gentleman Grand Wagoneer arrives at your home, it is a special occasion. It will be in beautiful condition and ready to drive and enjoy. Yes, our sales are as-is, but as you will see from our detailed service invoices, she has been looked after from nose to tail. Our goal is to see that the joy and enthusiasm of Grand Wagoneer ownership begins immediately with your purchase and that it will be there for years to come.
Be sure to have a look at our website's recommendation page where you can see first hand the positive experiences of a worldwide assortment of named buyers. We deal honestly and work hard to insure a happy buyer. You will never be pressured or chased for a sale but given all the time needed to insure if a purchase is right for you. Guided by these principals, our modestly sized niche dealership has built a loyal and devoted customer base spanning 5 continents.
