1970 Jeep Commando Additional Info:

This Commando project was done with the goal of reliability, every day drivability and safety. The addition of fuel injection makes this Commando extremely easy to drive in every day traffic, while the discs up front make it easy to stop. The sport seats are a huge leap over the stock origionals, and make the commando so much more comfortable. I have commuted with this car 25 miles each way, partially on the 405, and it has never let me down.

The following is partial list of work done, for which I have receipts greater than $15,000.

Engine:

· PO upgraded the 225OF to a 231 Odd Fire with 350 pistons and mild RV cam

· New timing chain and cover 2018

· Fit tech fuel injection with commando center fuel pump 2018. This system uses the stock fuel pump which is then connected to the command center pump to be pressurized for FI. This system works much better than an in-tank pump.
