1986 Jeep CJ Custom Additional Info:
A True show piece that will cost well over 100K to try and reproduce.
The Jeep brand has laid the ground work for many enthusiast to sculpt their Jeep with their own flare and style. Modifications that have been done by many talented people and is quite impressive over the recent years. In 2008 a special CJ-7 was commissioned with countless hours and significant money spent. Started with the common goal to build a CJ unlike any other and only using the best parts that were available and all new items. No borrowing parts from a donor car. This Jeep is work of art and has won many awards over the past years. Some of the most compelling are; 2011 Autorama Best in Class, ISCA Best off-road winner, Walter P Chrysler Museum Best Jeep winner, Winner of Best Engineered vehicle and a host of other car show best of show.
The build was started on a TDK custom powder coated box frame then Superior leaf springs over the axles were added along with a custom suspension setup with bilstein shocks. It sits on beefy 17" Ultra Motorsports chrome wheels with 37in BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires. DANA 44 custom axles with ARB air lockers for font and rear along with on-board compressor. Poison Spyder differential and covers with 4 wheel disc brakes. 4:88 rear end gears match up nicely with the 5spd automatic transmission and the twin stick transfer case by DANA. Into the engine bay you will find a 5.7 generation 3 HEMI that has a custom paint scheme to match outside, performance headers, chrome aluminum valve covers, BeCool aluminum radiator with Cool flex hoses. Rated over 390HP and will almost lift the front wheels of the ground. The Interior is impressive with custom Mastercraft sport seats in the front and rear, locking center console with stereo, High Steer HD steering system with IDIDIT chrome steering column and custom walnut flame steering wheel. Full gauge display with fuel, oil pressure, voltage, RPM, water temp, and MPH all properly mounted into the SS dash. Full soft top by Best Top SunRider with tinted windows and a custom cargo net top that will keep all inside. Outside you will find a custom fiberglass body with steel windshield frame and tailgate. The full body was Line-x where it wasn't painted and this body will last the test of time. Body was custom painted by Steve Fisher and the fire paint was all airbrushed and over 200hrs were spent to complete the entire paint job. Outside once you stop staring at the paint job you will find some awesome trim and little things that really stand out like; Warn winch that has never been used, Warn bumpers, chrome grill and fittings, KC Headlights, AMP power steps, two piece canvas doors, safari style doors, dual exhaust and so many other add-ons.
This is a show piece that was done incredibly well and will impress any Jeep nut or car person. It is very clean in every aspect and will get noticed where ever you take it. I highly recommend a closer look as there are so many things on this truck that the description does not do it justice. Take advantage of a fantastic build and enjoy one that you can be proud of drive, show or collect.
