This is a 1978 CJ7 Jeep with an automatic transmission and Quadratec 4 wheel drive. It has the 304 v8 factory engine along with many new parts including: Windshield, windshield frame, hood latch and hinge kit, rocker panels, back seat, cable kit for the controls, antenna, paint job, etc.
It is a full fiberglass tub, minus the hood, doors, windshield frame. Engine runs good and starts easy. It has an edelbrock manual choke carb. I have used the Jeep to drive around town on many occasions.
The transmission just recently started slipping, might be a very easy fix. Haven't taken it to the mechanic yet. Also the gauges aren't functioning except horn and speedo. I think this is probably also pretty easy, but haven't really ever looked into it. Might be a wire not connected to the fuse panel or something. When driving down the road there is play in the front end. I spoke to a tire/wheel place and was told the steering box needs adjusted. Once again, just haven't had the time to mess with it yet.
The miles show as 18k, so I would assume it has 118k miles.
