LIFTED 1991 Wrangler YJ, CALIFORNIA JEEP
Selling my 1991 Wrangler. This has been my project for the last few years, but now it's time to sell. This Jeep is not perfect, but it has a very high-level of detail. I have put well over $9,000.00 in documented dollars into this Jeep, and it will come with all receipts. It has a Pro Comp 4" suspension lift with Pro Comp shocks, 33-12.5-15 Pro Comp tires and black Pro Comp steel wheels. The tires (FIVE matching) have only a few thousand miles since new. As stated, this is a California Jeep with NO frame or body rot! Why buy a local rust bucket when you can buy rust-free? That being said, I will be as accurate as possible in describing any flaws. I do not want any surprises.
The heater core is bypassed because it sprung a leak a few years ago. No heat is not an issue where I live. The fuel gauge works, but the float is stuck on the baffle inside the tank (very common issue). I use the trip odometer to judge the amount of fuel in the tank. The motor runs strong but has an occasional noise from what I believe to be the timing chain guide. It has been this way for years and has not caused any issues. The factory vacuum actuator for the 4x4 has been replaced with a mechanical cable unit. This is very common and is actually a benefit. The paint is not perfect, but it is mostly factory original. I repainted the hood and its a slightly different shade of black. The driver's door window does not roll down all the way. I'm probably missing a few things, but there is nothing unusual for a 27 year old vehicle. There are a few very small rust bubbles under the windshield (this is VERY common even here in California). This area can very easily be repaired. You will experience slight water leaks around the door seals (again, very common with older Jeeps). There are near perfect Jeeps for sale here in eBay, but they come at a substantially higher price.
There is a factory hard top with factory full doors. There is a Viper alarm; I have two keys and two remotes. I installed a very nice Kenwood bluetooth stereo with a powered subwoofer. The right and left front seats were replaced with much nicer and much more comfortable bucket seats out of a Porsche 944. The rear seat was dyed to match the front seats. Full carpet in the Jeep, and there is a Poison Spider hood vent installed. Will come with a bikini top and all required fastening hardware. Yes, it's a 4 cylinder, but you are getting a LOT of Jeep for the money. There is an endless amount of details, such as LED lighting and a Tuff Stuff rear tire carrier. The radiator has been replaced with a much nicer aluminum aftermarket part, and the fan clutch and water pump were also changed to ensure no overheating issues while in the hot southern California desert. I will include the Cobra CB radio and antenna. The stereo bezel is NOT cut for the stereo; it is properly fitted. It has a newer cat and Magnaflow exhaust.
I have a YouTube channel with over 4,000 subscribers. I documented nearly every detail of this build. You can check out the playlist here on YouTube:
channel name: OhYeahAboutThat Look for the Jeep Wrangler playlist. Sorry, eBay does not permit a direct link.
I have the clear California title and it is ready for immediate transfer. Any California buyer will need to complete a SMOG check before registration. This Jeep is 100% emissions legal.
