We purchase this jeep from an older gentleman who loved to off-road and was part of a club. He lightly rolled the jeep on it roof (hence the salvage title). The jeep was set up with independent suspension (lack Diamond), armored up the under carriage (gas tank, diffs trans and transfer-case). The Jeep was a little ugly when we got it, exterior upgrades include, new bumper, rock slider, armor sides, new wheels & tires, new soft top, new flooring. We replaced the timing chain, oil pump (OEM), pan seals front & rear (no oil leaks) about 150 miles ago, added an intake, rand new cat, various vacuum lines, fuel lines and hoses. The engine runs strong and great, everything looked great inside also, this engine will last another 200k.

The NV4500 transmission works great, it has a granny first gear, and a great over drive that cruises the jeep down the freeway. Also comes with $100 worth of new fluid.

Dana 44 front and rear axles, I had Currie press some new bearings and seals in it, the rear end has a Air locker installed in it and a brand new compressor not installed.

Brand New Cooper Discoverer 35x12.50R15 and brand New Crager Wheels, the spare is not the same.

On board air compressor ran off the engine, works great,

I am selling the Jeep as non-op, I have replaced a ton of parts on this jeep and was planning on using it for weekend fun. We drove it around for a couple of years.

Has a JVC single din DVD video player USB Audio, has rear 6X9 MB Quart Speakers, new front Speakers 4x6 (cant remember the brand), two shallow mount 10” in a speaker box powered by 1,000 watt Orion amp. Also has a Viper Alarm.

It had also passed Cali Smog once the new cat was installed with flying colors.

Issues

One day we were driving home and noticed a slight vibration in the transfer-case shift level and a slight drivetrain noise. Driving is around the street the issue got worse to the point we just parked it. It had sat for a while, maybe 5 months The issues with the Jeep we thought was the transfer-case and replaced it with professionally rebuilt Dana 300 (still have all the parts for the old Dana 300, goes with the Jeep as well as a brand-new Dana 300 rebuild kit). Once the work on this was all done the issue was still there and I noticed that was no fluid in the clutch master cylinder, I put some fluid in and pumped it a little and was able to move it slowly up and down the driveway. I still hear drive train noise and move the Jeep only very slowly. The issue could be the clutch, maybe something still in the transfercase or maybe the rear end. Also there was someone helping me install the twin-stick conversion and he flaked halfway through that so that could be the issue. Never the less I am onto other projects and to be honest I dumped way too much money into this Jeep and it will make someone else a nice little project, probably an easy fix. I am only selling because I can use the room this Jeep and the Hardtop take up in my garage. Has dual batteries both are shot at this point, I can get it to jump.

I tried to list everything I can remember, please ask questions and hopefully I can answer them all.

The rear bumper is a factory TJ
This Jeep will need to be tow, also the hard top is not on.
Lots of extra parts in two tool boxes, alternators, fuel filters, belts, axles, bearings, u joints, seals, to much to list.
