1982 Jeep CJ Additional Info:

You are bidding on a 1982 CJ5 that I have owned for the past 8 years. The Jeep was purchased used, and restored over the course of 8 months by myself, and a colleague that has rebuilt over 20 CJ5s, CJ7, and CJ8s. Vehicle was purchased post small block conversion, and restored to its current condition, which I would grade as a 95%+ restoration.

The following items were either rebuilt or replaced:

Power Steering System was previously manual, and was converted to power steering. High pressure line, low pressure line, power steering pump, power steering engine block mount, and gear box are all in excellent working condition.

Rebuilt SR4 manual transmission.
Fuel pump replaced with hose leading into pump, and hose (plus filter) to carb replaced.

Dana 300 Transfer Case converted to dual shifter.

Vehicle was purchased post engine swap. CJ now has a 1984 small block chevy v8 that runs extremely well.

CJ has been fitted with new small block chevy radiator. The vehicle never runs hot, and does not leak radiator fluid.

This is not an interstate cruiser. This vehicle tops out at approximately 55mph.

Tires: 33x12.5 r15 with spare (spare is a 31x10.5 r15).

CJ front bumper, and rear bumper are all rhino lined. Inside tub of CJ is rhino lined.

Known issues:

Two small cracks on front finder approximately 1 cm in length (pictured).

One small paint chip on the hood.

Parking brake light will no longer turn off. This happened after the transmission was rebuilt.

Reverse lights will not turn off. I have them removed currently. This also happened after the transmission was rebuilt.

This CJ should belong to a person that loves Jeeps. It cranks every time, and drives great (by 1982 Jeep standards). I drive it to work weekly, and use it as a weekend cruiser. 4 wheel drive, and transfer case all work extremely well. This is a solid Jeep that from a restoration standpoint is at 95%.
