1975 Jeep CJ Additional Info:

Due to a "suspicious bidder" (non-payment), this jeep is up for sale again. Jeep is equipped with an AMC 360 engine with a mild (292 duration) cam. Carburetor is a quadrajet, which is great for off-roading since there is no bowl spillover. Exhaust gasses are routed through headers and dual exhaust to the rear bumper. It has a beautiful exhaust note. Power steering and power brakes have been added.
Power is routed through a T-18 transmission, which was swapped in to replace the original 3 speed. This transmission has a granny low gear for low speed crawling. The transmission and motor provide a good balance between crawling and higher end power. Transfer case is the original dana 20. Front axle is a dana 30 with disc brakes. Rear axle is the original dana 44 with drum brakes. It is equipped with 33" tires.
Suspension has a 4" lift installed with upgraded shackles. Body is all fiberglass, besides the grill and windshield frame (original). Jeep has a full, frame-anchored roll cage. Custom front bumper with a receiver hitch for a winch, with hookup still visible. Tow hooks have been added front and rear. A new fuse block was added last year. Windshield wipers and heater both work. Tach is column mounted.
This jeep has "normal" trail wear. Small chips and scratches from trees, etcetera, but no body damage. You have to be pretty close to any of the marks to see them. There is no top included, but the body still has the snaps to mount a soft top. Two soft doors will be included.
I have extra parts, which will not be included in this auction. They include two International Scout dana 44 wide track axles, as well as two spartan lockers. The axles will need to be rebuilt, but they would be a nice addition to the jeep. I am willing to work with a buyer on the price of those items if they purchase the jeep.
Due to a career change I will no longer have time to tinker with/enjoy the jeep. I feel guilty for keeping it in a garage, it needs to be out doing what it was built for.
Cash preferred, buyer will be responsible for pick-up or shipping.
Thanks!
