1982 Jeep J-10 Honcho
I bought this Jeep to use it for parts to restore the Roger Mears Budweiser Jeep Honcho(@savebud on Facebook) but when I got it was nicer than I thought so I’ve decided to sell it so someone else can save this future beauty.
The truck came from Colorado where it had been sitting for at least 10 years. The bed has some rust spots as shown, the cab and floorboards show very little rust. The interior is rough, but pretty much all there. The windshield needs to be replaced, the right side vent is broken but I will include a replacement. The steering column is loose, but can be tightened.Hood release works, but the knob is original knob is missing.
It runs, the transmission shifts, the 4wd, Power steering and brakes work. I put a muffler, fuel pump and accelerator pump on it and runs surprisingly smooth for as long as it has been sitting. If I were to drive it as real transportation, but not restore it I would rebuild the carb, replace all hoses, belts, fluids, plugs and ignition wires. I’ve only driven the truck a few miles to make sure it runs, I’m not making any claims to the real condition of any of its systems as I have not gone through any of them.
