1968 Jeep Wagoneer Base Sport Utility 2-Door 5.3L

1968 Jeep Wagoneer Additional Info:

A very rare, fully restored 1958 Jeep Wagoneer. This American Classic was a one-family owned vehicle before coming to the restorer last year.
Exterior: All and any rust was repaired using OEM panels for fit. There is not an ounce of body filler on this Jeep. The paint was done to the original Empire Blue color. The glass is nearly perfect as is the chrome.
Interior: OMG, it was great when I got it but we still did some things. The seat fabrics were redone with a near perfect match to the original. The original carpet was removed, cleaned and reinstalled. It's beautiful. The headliner was replaced and the dashpad refinished.
Motor: The original Vigilante V8 - 327 is there and runs great. We did install a new carburetor after a rebuild of the original did not yield the results desired. New belts and hoses were also installed.
Check Mecum Auctions site and you will find only two of these have come up for auction in the past years. One lesser example than this Jeep went for $20,000. A very nice example and frankly a better Jeep went for $30,000. If I don't sell it here I will sit on it until Mecum's June auction in Denver.
