1990 Jeep Wrangler Chrome Additional Info:
Awesome fully off the frame restored YJ wrangler (approx. 4,000 miles after the restoration). The pictures pretty much say it all but highlights include:
33" mickey's
-4" stainless steel exhaust (flow mastered) that is attached to a 1976 L48 corvette motor! (yup it's super loud)
-Motor was last rebuilt in 2000, and was actually pulled out of a 69 Camaro (never had it dyno'd, but I'd say around 300-400hp)
-Tranny is an automatic 3 speed Turbomatic 400 out of a 84 Chevy
-Rear end is a Dana 35 LSD with 4.88 ratio
-Custom bucket seats
-Removable steering wheel for anti-theft
-Comes with a complete vehicle cover (fitted for a 02 grand Cherokee, but works) $250 new
Issues with the Jeep
It does have some small leaks (it's has parts that are over 40 years old people!) Most 40 year old people themselves have small leaks ;) I just put a long piece of cardboard under the vehicle in the garage and no worries. All fluids are fully synthetic. The brakes work just fine but won't lock you up as the large tires are the culprit. Gets I would say around 8mpg in the city and 13 on the hwy, It's really hard to keep your foot off the gas in this sucker! Drives smooth with out a shake 0-100mph.
Fun drive for those wanting to cruise it on the beach or take it to the golf course! Come an get it!
Oh I have the side doors in my shed, they come with the vehicle, but only girls drive jeeps with the doors, duhhh!
