1985 Jeep CJ Additional Info:
I bought this original 1985 CJ7 from an elderly man last fall. I'm the 4th owner. Has a clean Carfax. Original tub and frame. Body man said they are fine. Has soft top and doors, power steering, original carpet, seats and console. Original Jeep owners manual. 5 speed transmission. Power steering. New tires except spare which is a new retread, linkage and adjuster, stainless brake lines and carburetor. Needs master cylinder as brakes tend to fade after driving for a bit. Pumping helps. Runs great. Leaks a little oil but that is a Jeep. Original wagon wheels. I have the side steps and console as well as original carpet. Passenger side No radio took the crappy one out. Rear window zippers need re-sewn. Inspected thru 2/17. Recently serviced. Color looks burgundy one of the previous owners had it repainted. Looks like body work done on drivers rear wheel area but a magnet sticks. Could be base or Laredo. I can't tell you how much respect I get in Jeep waves going down the road in this. If you are traveling a long distance, I would recommend getting the brake issue taken care of first. All in all, it is an awesome Jeep. I crawled under it and took pictures, too. Hopefully the picturescomplete the story.Selling because my first Jeep was a 1977 Renegade. Hope to find one soon. Thanks for looking. I apologize if I've forgotten anything. This isn't a show Jeep, it's a real Jeep.
