1989 Jaguar XJS, 6k, .7 LT1 V8, speed automatic transmission. I've got a lot invested in this car since I had not planned on selling; finances andloss of storage force sale.

This conversion was done with a low mileage (approximately 40k) 1997 5.7 LT1 V8 rated at 310 HP and a four speed auto transmission with fuel saving overdrive.I have been told by mechanics and by Jaguar fans at car shows that it's one of the most professional Jaguar engine swaps they've seen.The acceleration and responsiveness of the fuel injected 5.7 V8 is impressive, dding improved reliability and low cost maintenance.

New valve cover / intake / oil pan gaskets, igh performance MSD Optispark distributor, igh output coil as well as headers and new dual exhaust system including resonators, he exhaust is quiet. Aftermarket high flow radiator, lectric fans, he list goes on. A/C needs to be completed, ompressor is on engine with belt but not hooked up. Recent work includes new brakes and rotors all around (rear brakes on a Jaguar of this era is over four hours of labor, ery expensive), ull tuneup, ynthetic oil and four wheel alignment.As I mentioned the Jag only has 58k and feels like a new car.
