Near new 1990 Jaguar XJS with less than 20,000 miles on the odometer from new. This car is a Rouge Collection model, of which there were less than100 imported to the US in 1990. I bought the car from the estate of the first owner and I have lavished attention and money on the car in the 13 years I have owned it. The car has a high end Pioneer stereo installed, it was professionally converted to a manual 5 speed transmission, the engine was removed from the car and new seals and gaskets installed (it does not leave puddles on the floor), a valve job was performed and the cam was modified for better performance. A new exhaust was installed, new larger anti-sway bars were installed, front and rear shocks were replaced, new starter installed, rebuilt rear differential installed. Most of the work done on the car was the result of its not being driven very much by the first owner. I drive the car four or five times per week and it runs great. It also gets an incredible amount of attention. If you like talking to strangers about your car, you will love this car.
I am retired and living in Chihuahua Mexico. This is too nice a car to have in Mexico, it belongs in America with someone who will love it like I have. It is titled in Montana and I will deliver it to the buyer in El Paso, Texas, so there will be no import issues for the buyer.
I have all the service and repair invoices and records which I will send to you upon request.
What needs attention? The bolster on the driver's seat is worn and could be repaired, if you are so inclined; there is a small cigarette burn on the lower cushion of he rear seat, it is not very noticeable; there is a small crease in the rear passenger side fender, just above the bumper, there is no paint damage and I believe it can be removed by a paintelss dent repair person, the car needs new catalytic converters installed.
