1967 Jaguar 420 D 4 Speed with Overdrive: Original Additional Info:

Vehicle was put in a barn in 1987. It had gas and oil stabilizer added to the tanks. Radiator holding fluids. Electrical lights up with the new battery. Vehicle has got a key. Hood, trunk and doors all open. The glass is in good shape all around. No dents but paint has flaked off in a couple locations (pieces are preserved for attachment if desired). Engine has not been attempted to start. Engine has been turned at crankshaft. Vehicle was rescued from barn and towed to Nashville TN residence and been cleaned inside and out to best of my ability. Has one new tire and valve (the one in the photo that is flat) Hub caps are present in the trunk but rough. Little surface rust but large paint flake fell off (preserved). Footboards all seem to be solid, unknown condition concerning the undercarriage but assumed to be normal. The original flooring is mostly intact, been cleaned and in the vehicle trunk. Under the hood, it is all in tact. The air filter unit and carbonators were removed, semi-cleaned and inspected and seem to be okay (as seen in final photo). As far as I can tell, all major and minor components are present in the car. The hood jaguar ornament is present and complete but requires installation, it is the correct one for that vehicle (some photos show the emblem sitting where it installs). . I'm pretty sure this vehicle was a "Gray Market' import. I think the car was originally owned in Germany and later bright into the port of Jacksonville FL in the early 1980s and briefly had a FL title before later getting a TN title by previous owner. The current title is a clean title in my NAME.. The odometer is in Kilometers, the vehicle steering wheel is Left hand Drive (USA specs). This vehicle has 4-speed manual along with the built-in Overdrive toggle switch which aides in both fuel economy and higher end speeds.Interior is rough with worn seats and dash. No evidence of rewiring or dash controls being messed up. German writing on the radio. I think all the windows work. Vehicle has independent rear end suspension. We had a key made and got additional blanks. Assorted paperwork present before the vehicle was placed in a barn for storage along with a VW camper and a Porsche. Decedent owned seven homes in Decker TN and all vehicles were assumed running when stored away and essentially forgotten about. Vehicle is assumed to be non-running and will require a trailer/ tow truck to remove from my driveway located in Nashville TN. Easy location to find as my street directly accesses all three major interstates running to Nashville. Not sure what else to add about the car, pictures aren't the best, ask questions and if requested, I can send additional photos. >>> FINAL NOTE: 2% Cash Discount in person.
