1970 Jaguar E-Type Additional Info:

This is the automobile that Enzo Ferrari called the “most beautiful car ever made.” It is indeed a statement: It’s the spirit of the open road, captured in steel and ieather.

She turns heads wherever you go.

Some cars don’t just age; they become legends. This classic machine is both functional and collectible. But it does need some TLC that I'm no longer able to provide.Features a 4.2L engine with 150lbs compression on all 6 cylinders. Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate authenticates matching numbers. Engine 7R-12667-9, VIN 1R13623. 64,573 miles. Clear title. I’ve driven this beauty about 9000 miles since purchase in 1985.It would make a good everyday driver were it not for its age.

Approximately 75 miles on complete tuneup done in June, 2022.

In Nov, 2022, new front pads, rotors, rebuilt calipers, new brake master, new brake servo, new front brake hoses.

Small, 4” diameter oil leak (see photo). Appears after idling for 30 minutes. Appears to be coming from front crank seal.

Typical British car issue.

New radiator in March, 2023.

All gauges work, except clock.

Body is in good condition, except for 2 small rust holes in front floor pan

Small hole in convertible top.

Always garaged..

interior is in good condition, but shows signs of wear.

Trunk is in good condition, with spare tire tool kit, Jag service manual, and owner’s manual.

I’ve owned this eye-catching beauty since 1985. I’ve driven it about 9000 miles since purchase.

Starts fine, runs fine, shifts fine, stops fine.

Would make a good everyday driver, were it not 55 years old.

Vehicle is in good condition for its age, but not perfect.

Always garaged. Paint is good, but shows a few spots of primrose yellow paint in engine compartment on sub-frame and door jambs where original color shows through. Done sometime before I bought the Jaguar.
