1969 Jaguar E-Type Additional Info:

This 1969 Jaguar E-Type Series 2 Fixed Head Coupe (Chassis #1R26225) is a remarkably original California car with matching numbers and complete provenance. It has had just three owners from new and was kept by its previous owner from 1975 until 2020. I acquired it from Heritage Classic Cars on Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angele. I have the original bill of sale and record of the bank transfer.

The car was declared off road to the DMV when it went into storage in July 2022. The car is available for inspection in Beverly Hills upon request. The successful auction winner must provide a deposit of US$5000 within 24 hours of the auction closing. This is a unique opportunity to acquire unrestored and complete original which will be worth classic Ferrari money in the future while all the restored examples will never be of interest to Jaguar (the company) or to purist collectors or car museums.

It has always been serviced at Mitchell’s Automotive in Los Angeles, which also services Elon Musk’s black E-Type roadster. The car has never left California since it was sold new and retains its original pink slip, original manual, and other documentation. I'm happy to answer any questions and provide more photographs or video and scans of original documents and the original manual and the pink slip.

It is not in immaculate condition but it is completely original and has no missing parts even the original hammer for turning the spinner removal tool for the wheels and I would say that it is investment grade precisely because it has not been restored andf is fully functional. This was my daily driving car for two years in Los Angeles and it's actually really practical and drives really well on the freeway and it does have a little bit of rust but it has been in dry California since new. The only things I've done to it are replace the carpet with a carpet specially made in California and I have replaced the foam in the seats. The car has been in secure dry storage in Beverly Hills since July 2022.
