Throughout the restoration, meticulous attention was given to the glass, moldings, and gaskets, either reconditioning or replacing them. The body lines are consistently good, without any signs of door sag. While there are a few typical blemishes in the paint, requiring a keen eye to spot, such as a light run on the lower edge of the door and a couple of superficial scratches, these can be remedied with compound or wet sanding.Notably, the center lower panel beneath the headlight appears to have experienced a dent at some point, with accompanying cracking in the paint. This, however, is concealed from sight by the bumper itself. The doors, trunk, and bonnet open and close effortlessly. The lights are clean, in excellent condition, and fully operational. The wheels have been sandblasted and repainted in a bright aluminum finish, presenting a pleasing aesthetic. While the whitewall tires are in good condition, their age is unconfirmed. A new Coker tire has been installed on the right front, and it's important to note that these are tubed tires.Inside the cabin, a blend of genuine tan leather and mohair, along with custom-trimmed carpet and paneling, creates an interior that stands as a highlight of this Jaguar XK140 Drophead Coupe. The overall completeness of the interior is evident, with a couple of minor trim panels requiring affixing as they are not currently secured in place.
