1972 Jaguar E-Type Additional Info:

This Jaguar is in excellent condition for it's age. It has few garage dings but is otherwise quite an incredibly preserved vehicle. My father purchased it in 1974 and it has ALWAYS been garaged. It was certainly garaged for the last 10 years or more without being driven and subsequently needed a few items addressed in order to bring it back to life. .

After my father passed away last year I took it to a very reputable Jaguar technician in order to bring it back to life. I spent nearly $20k over the last year on the fuel system, cooling system, brakes, belts, etc. I have receipts available upon request. They did an excellent job in paying attention to the needs of the vehicle. The entire process took over a year.

I also have the original purchase invoice and title that dates back to 1974.

It now starts immediately and runs like a champ with no mechanical issues. It actually amazes me how well it drives for a 50 year old vehicle. My father loved this car yet cancer robbed him of so much of his enjoyment as he grew older.

If you have any questions then feel free to ask. I also encourage an inspection of the car prior to bids/purchase although I doubt you will be disappointed.
The Jaguar is a fine specimen of a well preserved car. It displays the original chrome and rubber moldings and the interior is untouched (headliner needs replaced). It would not take much more work to make it an incredible trophy showpiece and is already certainly ready for weekend or daily driver.

Additional notes:
- It appears that at some point in time the bonnet was resprayed. Not sure when or why but underneath shows no evidence. My father bought this car when I was 4 years old and I have zero recollection of any paintwork.
-Tires are old and will need to be replaced.
The reserve price is not much higher than the current ask and the sale price is certainly negotiable.. The car was professionally appraised a few months ago for $59750.00. I have all documentation. Unfortunately, I am super busy and do not have much time to entertain "tire kickers". If you are seriously interested then please view the vehicle or get an inspection. If you commit to purchasing the Jaguar and the independent inspection fails then I will reimburse you the cost.

*** Several people have asked about rust and also photos of the undercarriage. The only visible rust is on the surface of the original exhaust pipes. The under body still preserves the preventive coating from the factory and is devoid of any rust. This car is incredibly well preserved. I should have taken photos of the under body when it was on a lift in the air but unfortunately I did not. Rust is not a concern!

*** The back hatch appears to have gaps but it merely needs adjustment. No stories.

If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to ask. My # is 513-825-5885
Thank you!Gary
