Champagne gold 1992 XJS convertible runs great and is one smooth ride. The touring suspension feelsamazing, perfect for when my wife and I are out on our Sunday drives. People always stop and ask us about it, it’s a popular car. 82,300 miles which is fairly low for a 23-year-old car and could easily be someone's reliable daily driver. I've owned the car for 7 years. Only one issue - the power convertible top does not automatically raise/drop. I raise/drop it manually by myself with very little difficulty in less than 30 seconds - super simple. Everything else on the car works perfectly.
I put new tires on when I bought the car, theyhave less then 5K on them. Theexterior is nice with no dents, a few very small chips buthard to see. Interior is in decent shape, carpet is very clean. driver seat shows some minor wear but in general the interior of this car is good. Original V12 engine is fast and fun, powerful and very unique. Idols at 700 rpms. Why? It’s time for me to make room in my garage for some exercise equipment and I just don’t drive it very much anymore. I’m hoping to sell to a Jaguar enthusiast or someone who wants a quality, reliable car. They are so much fun.
