Unrestored Original low mile, paint, interior, 4 speed, air-conditioned

1970 Jaguar E-Type Additional Info:

Not-restored, original, twenty seven thousand mile car. 4 speed, air-conditioning. This car I first found in 1984 sitting in aWidower's garage since 1975 due to a faulty alternator that prevented her from driving the car. I told her the fix would be free if she let me put it in my show room for the summer, she agreed. The car then had approximately 22,900 miles and sat in her garage until 2006,when her neighbor who had always wanted the car, purchased it with approximately 23,500 miles. Jane Gilmore Sprinkle the original owner, was, as she corrected me several times "British" not English. She met and married her husband in Englandduring the warand always wanted a Jaguar and got this one in 1970. The car spent it's whole life in the small town of Havre Montana, in a garage. The car now has 27,938 miles and still drives like a new car, very tight and smooth.The paint ismostly original although as you can see a few spotswhere blends were done in the1970's. Her neighbor states no paintwork has ever been done after he purchased the car.
