1994 Jaguar XJS Base Convertible 2-Doors Additional Info:
1994 Jaguar XJS Convertible in Gold Color with Brown Convertible Power TopThis is one of the last series of Jaguar XJS Convertible model in production. The V6 engine is running so smooth in comparison with the V8 and V12. Gas consumption is much less than its bigger V8 and V12 brothers. The transmission is very smooth and the suspension is in very good condition. It runs so quiet and steady on the highway.Body wise, this Jag has its original paint in champagne/gold metallic colour and is still very shinny without any rust. There is a small ding on the rear driver side above the wheel near the body line sticker and there is a 4 inch paint fading on the rear right corner of the bumper. Other than that the paint and body look very nice and in excellent shape. Tires and rims look very nice and shinny. Tires still have lots of thread. The convertible soft top opens and closes very smoothly with its power control. The fabric is still very straight without rip except a small thinning at the left rear corner which has been strengthened with a patch underneath. It is not quite noticeable, and replacing the top fabric is only around $400. But I like to keep it original. The leather seats are still very good condition and the driver seat shows some age but still in good shape. After I bought this Jag in August 2016, the driver side control arm was replaced and the battery was also replaced in December 2016. Otherwise nothing has been done on the car since then. I drove it for less than 900 miles since I bought it. I bought an aftermarket custom-made car cover for this Jag but has not been used and still in the box.The car is originally registered in USA with 5 previous owners and I am the 6th owner. It was imported into Canada in 2016 and I still has a duplicate of the USA title certificate which make it very easy to be re-exported back to USA without issue. The car comes with two keys and remote alarm control. The original manual is in the car with some service records.Very reluctant to sell this Jag but only need to give rooms to my garage for other collections.Buyer need to pick up the car and test drive can be arranged. Serious buyers to make bids only.Successful bidder requires to make a non-refundable deposit of $500 within 48 hours and the balance can be paid within 7 days by bank wired transfer or cash on collection.
