Now being offered for salein stock in the United Statesis this complete, early style,XK120Open Two Seater (Roadster) reproduction body shell with chassis. This body shell reflects theearliest steel bodiedXK120OTS's that have the lack of the front wing side vents. The chassis itself is theearly styleXK120chassis that mounts the earlyXK120engine's. Constructed of correct gauge metal and built to original specifications, these bodies and chassis will serve as a platform for a concours restoration. The original XK120-140-150 body shells were comprised of panels that were a combination of steel and aluminum. Ours duplicate exactly the same materials used. They are sold complete with new reproduction alloy bonnet, doors and boot lid. The front and rear wings and all the remaining portions are fabricated of the correct gauge steel. All of the panels are hand fitted and adjusted with correct gaps. The chassis themselves are of the correct gauge steel and are as well crafted as the body shells. These reproductions of the iconic XK series of Jaguar sports cars are built in Europe by skilled craftsmen and their great attention to detail is illustrated in the photos. The bodies are shipped in bare metal mounted on a correct reproduction chassis and ready for proper preparation and paint. The price includes shipping to the US east coast.
