Hi Thank you for checking out our auction, up for sale is an extremely rare 1951 Jaguar Mark V with 70114 miles on the odometer. This car has been sitting undisturbed in a garage for over 40 years. What's even more astounding is the fact there is no rust on the body or frame. From 1948-1951 there were only (10,499) of the Mark V's produced, with a merely(1902) of this Left Hand Drive (LHD) 1951 Saloon model being auctioned in this Ebay listing, so not many left in the world and certainly very few left as solid as this one. Another thing to consider is 1951 was the last year Jaguar produced the Mark V Saloon. This rare find has the factory upgraded High Performance Straight Inline Six 3.5 Liter Z engine option, distinctive by the Z number on the Fender Tag Engine No. Z2631 (please see pictures of the Fender Tag). The Mark V's engine is coupled to a 4 Speed Manual transmission which was standard for the 1951 Mark V Saloon and Drop-Head Coupe Models. The chrome and glass in this amazing vehicle is in excellent shape. All of the factory tools and accessories to the Rear Hatch Tool Kit is there as well, if you have seen these cars before you may have noticed many are missing an item or two from The Mark V Tool Kit or the Tool Kit is no longer present with the vehicle. What I would consider the only ruff area of this car is the interior, which will need reupholstering but everything is present on this Mark V to do a period correct restoration. The wood trim is all at hand and can be restored. There is one small dent on the Passenger side front fender and one small dent on the midway point of the passenger side rear fender. Both dents occurred during storage so no disturbance to the body lines of this 1951 Jaguar Mark V, the body panels are very straight and properly aligned. Due to the Mark V sitting as long as it has (40 Years) we highly recommend refurbishing the gas tank, carbs and fuel lines before pouring gas into the tank and attempting to start. The engine does turn over freely with no audible sounds to indicate any issues. The previous owner did state the engine ran great when the decision was made to store the 1951 over forty plus years ago. Feel free to request more pictures and I will email them to you. I don't deal with any junk, this 1951 Jaguar Mark V is an amazing find and the real deal. Please check out my feedback and bid with confidence.
We Thank you for your time.

A huge Thank you to Ebayer Jordymkv that brought to my attention to highlight the additional kit that came in a box containing a Copper Head Gasket among some other items to repair the Mark V if ever needed. You can partially see it in the picture showing the Rear Hatch Tool kit. The way I understood it this kit was something that came with the Mark V Saloons and Drop Head Coupes and given to the customer by Jaguar at time of purchase. The Jaguar Repair kit is present with this 1951 Mark V and the repair parts within the kit look brand new unopened, if you require immediate pictures of this kit let me know and I will email them to you. I will try to figure out how to add them here since the auction has already started and will do so asap if Ebay allows. Thank you, AL
