1967 Jaguar Other sedan Additional Info:
Up for auction is a rust free Jaguar 420 saloon that has spent its life in sunny California. This Jaguar is an unfinished restoration project that has had much work already done. I am a British car enthusiast and I bought this Jag projecta couple of years ago with intentions of finishing it but in the last two years all I have done is store it. I have way too many projects. The previous owner rebuilt both the front and rear suspension assemblies including the brakes, repainted the car in its original sage green and had the carburetors rebuilt and the intake polished. The radiator has been rebuilt. The fuel tanks were also refurbished. The original 4.2 litreengine is missing (anyXK 6cylinder will fit)but all the ancillaries are there including the oil pan. This 420 also is fitted with the original trunk mounted air conditioning. Please view photos of parts. There are more parts but I ran out of photo space on this ad.The paint looks great on casual inspection but if examined carefully you can see some delamination issues(see door photo) I do have the original paint to blend these areas in.The body is very sound and rust free andit has great shut lines. If you would like more photos of paint email me and I can send you some. The glass is in very good condition and the windshield and back window seals are newer. The interior is largely original and in need of restoration, the wood isstill good except for a small area near the radio where the veneer has peeled. The jaguar comes with spare wheel and original toolbox with some tools. Feel free to email or call me with any questions (Simon @ 1 559 349 3109) I can help with shipping arrangements. This is a no reserve auction so highest bid wins.
