1991 Isuzu Other Additional Info:

1991 Isuzu Pickup with a 1986 Isuzu PUP diesel installed. Runs great, starts even on coldest days. Excellent MPG- 35-40. 219,000 on body, unknown mileage on engine. 4 speed manual transmission.Not a rust bucket. You can see the only rust issue under the passenger door in the photos. Was my daily driver for a few years up until about 3 months ago. Drives OK as it is, but could use some attention on a few things:
Exhaust at the moment has a flexpipe on it- it is louder than it should be and exhaust pipes should be replaced.
Engine will sometimes race at idle. I suspect this is a IP timing issue. Can be slowed by engaging clutch.
Steers hard. No power steering and front end could probably use attention. lower ball joints are newer, but probably needs uppers and tie rod bushings, etc.
No A/C.
Heater blower only works on full speed.
Front left sidelight lens is broken.
Glow plugs are manually operated by pushbutton on dash.
Topper back window is off. Was too cloudy to see through. Have the parts.
Tires have a few thousand miles left on them. Front left slow leaks.Was repainted at some point.
Has a Greasecar vegetable fuel kit installed that saves you a ton on fuel, or can be easily removed.
I did not do the engine swap- I bought it this way 3+ years ago. Realize this is an older vehicle that has been modified and you should expect to have to do some maintenance to bring it fully up to snuff. sold as it is. Runs and drives well, but probably something you would not want to drive acrossthe country.
