My wife bought this dump truck for me for my birthday 10-years ago. I replaced the brakes, and tires and rebuilt the 345, V8 engine out of frame, and gave her a new 2-part acrylic (freightliner white) paint job about 3500 miles ago. This old truck hauled my backhoe and other accessories to Texas from California about 5-years ago. I have used it for a total of 350 miles the last 12-months, so its time to let her go to someone else. The mileage reported is actual mileage on the vehicle. She has a five speed transmission with two speed rear axle. The dump bed works great and will hold 6-yards or up to 14,000 lbs. It is gas, (not diesel) so maintenance is simple. It has vacuum over hydraulic brakes; that combined with its GVW under 26000, in most states means that no commercial drivers license is required.
