1979 International Harvester Scout Traveler For Sale
This Scout Traveler was Originally sold in high desert of Baker City, OR. at Chet Smith Motors. It has resided in Baker City since new with only one prior owner before I bought it 2 years ago. It now has just over 90,000 original miles verified by the original owner that the odometer has never rolled over. I has a newer 304 that is in excellent running condition. No smoke or weird noises. It has a 4 speed transmission . It is also a 4x4. It still wears the original paint from the factory. No touch ups or body filler. There are some dents in the body that you can see in the photos and videos. The rear hatch is fiberglass and has some damage near the license plate area. The under side of the vehicle has surface rust but, nothing major. The floors have rust present. I have had extensive amounts of work put into this Scout to make it a reliable commuter/ Traveling vehicle for myself and my family. It has been a regular driver during nice weather, including a 1,000 mile trip with a camper and my family loaded in it. It has performed flawlessly every time. Feel confident that you are bidding on a very reliable Scout that is in great original condition. It would be hard to build this Scout yourself for the price .
