Purchased in the Summer of 2020 (6/16 to be precise) from Cool Classic Rides in Sherwood, Oregon.Cool Classic Cars found this gem on a farm in Montana. Little to no rust. As far as I know I am the third owner; Original Owner, Cool Classic, me.
Complete cosmetic restoration to an original IH color, Glacier Blue, with Ralleye stripes added. She is a looker. This is my daily driver and I rarely driver somewhere without someone giving me a compliment or to share a story of their first Scout...especially in the summer with the top off and only the roll cage between me and the sky.
The Traveler model comes with a longer wheel base than the Scout II which means more cargo space behind the back seat. So load up and head out this summer with a fully removable top and full, 6-point, black, powder-coated roll cage. Speaking of removeable top, this one features one-of-a-kind etched glass. Done completely by hand by the wizards at EMP (www.empsgraphiceye.com), both sides feature tropical scenes including islands and even a sunken ship. You won’t find this glass anywhere else. Was purchased in summer 2020 with a fresh coat of factory original, Glacier Blue paint. I immediately ceramic coated the body. Dirt comes off with water and tar comes off easily with a little soap or Goo Gone.
Upholstery is blue/black plaid.
