1980 International Harvester Scout Additional Info:

This is my work in progress, but health issues force me to let it go -- 1980 International Harvester IHC SCOUT II CVI GMS - Green machine Scout - Comes with Line setting Ticket - Clean Colorado title - It's a Scout, yes, it has some rust... please see pics and description.The entire tub is Rhino Lined. Rear Red marker lenses are on but both are cracked, front Amber lenses are good. SSII front grille (square headlight grille was broken so we put a SSII grille in-- 345 with Affordable Fuel Injection system (just installed- throttle blades may need adjusted to allow for easier startup) - NEW poly fuel tank - Factory skid plate (needs installed) NEW Dual exhuast system - Torqueflight 727 (IHC calls it by a different name) Dana 300 T case - locking hubs - Dana 44 front and rear with rear locking diff (does not engage anymore, would beed new clutches) AC, Tilt, Cruise (missing parts) PS, PDB, Pillow Top high back bucket seats, CVI center console, Half Cab (was full travel top from factory, top was rusted badly, so converted to correct straigt window half cab top.) NEW 4 inch rough country lift and shocks - NEW 5 matching tires and wheels 32.9.50 x 15 - spare mounted on pre runner carrier in bed - LUND crossover tool box - CARR rotating light bar with 9 inch HID lights (need wired) 2 more 9 inch HID lights on front bumper (need wired) Affordable Off road bumpers front and rear - NEW 10K Warn winch up front - All new brakes - Straight Steer II steering crossover brace - NEW electronic distributor -- You can see, much has been done, but there is more to be finished (if you want) Here is a list of parts that come with the Scout: 4 NEW fender flares - extended lift shakles - Toyota lighted FJ40 power mirrors - For the rust.... you also get inner and outer rocker panels ( you can see in pics they are bad) - patch panel - The tailgate is held shut by the two locks, the hardware was missing when I got it. Also, you will want to either install the LED light resistors I have that are included in line of each S.T.T. and park light or go back to incandesent blubs - the LED ones sometimes do not flash on left turn or right turn.
To start the Scout, you engage both blue rocker switches (one for fuel pump, one for ECM) then tunr the key. It is hard stsrtin when cold (throttle blades need adjusted) If Ihave time, I will adjust them before the Scout goes to its new home.
