1987 International Harvester Other 1954 Additional Info:
This truck has a DT466 non electronic engine that runs fine with a Spicer 5spd transmission and 2spd rear axle that shift fine. The cab is in very poor condition and honestly would probably be easier to replace (unless you're good with replacing/patching body panels. Or don't mind a rusty truck such as myself) I have the truck plated and insured for 22k lbs and do not need a CDL even though it has air brakes. I bought this truck with full intention of making it 4wd. I have a 2.5 ton military transfer case that I will include with the truck if bought for buy it now price. The odometer of the truck says 87k miles and the title says it has 487k miles. This truck was part of a local oil and gas fleet that was very strict on maintenance and it shows. I was told by the previous owner that the engine was overhauled at around 300k miles but he couldnt provide documention of it so take it as it is. The truck does build 60+ lbs of oil pressure after its up to temp and 80+ lbs when cold wich leads me to believe it has been rebuilt at some point. It drives straight down the road and doesn't pull or vear. The tires have alot of tread but do show signs of dry rot so run at your own risk. The bed is a 20ft supreme manufacturing steel flat deck that is dock height and width. It is NOT a roll back. I will not ship, and I will not arrange shipping of the truck. I will help load the truck if the buyer arranges shipping. I have tried my best to describe this truck to the best of my knowledge and if you have any questions please write me before bidding. Payment is due immediately after auction ending. I have this truck listed locally for sale and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Payment of $500 is due at auction ending and cash is due upon pickup. Truck must be picked up and paid for in full within a week or it will be relisted.
