"Ranch Find", THIS IS A TRUE RARITY A LOW MILAGE International Harvester B120 "Custom" 4X4 3/4 Step Side Pickup. Truck spent spent 51 of it's 56 years on Texas and New Mexico Ranches. Last 5 years have been in Chicago area but NEVER, NEVER driven in any winter conditions. Body is rock solid !!! Surface rust from sitting outside with a primer like paint job. Brought it home to Chicago area to restore but never was able to get started, so time to move on to someone who can get this survivor back into shape. Cab still contains lots of New Mexico ranch dust.
Truck as been repainted as underside of cab shows a forest green color. Certainly would benefit from a new paint job. I have a 1958/1959 color chart included. I have the original bench seat at an upholsterer for a quote. At a minimum you'll get the original seat frame, if you're lucky I'll have it recovered. Note Original IH FLOOR MAT in photo's. Truck did not have a tailgate when I bought it so I found replacement and installed. Note Custom badges on door and chrome on door as well as front brush guard and heavy duty rear step bumper. Body has dings and dents commensurate with 51 years or ranch work. Photo's show the worst of this damage, including holes drilled/cut into bed.
Truck runs and drives well for it's age. The Silver Diamond 6 starts every time. Geared very low so have not had over 45 mph. Showing 49,000 miles but odometer does not seem to be working. Over the past two years I have had new wires, points, plugs, and a distributor cap installed. The original carburetor, fuel pump and radiator have been professionally rebuilt. All new hoses and water pump installed. The front brakes were recently redone with new shoes, lines and wheel cylinders. All fluids and lubricants have been changed as well. The wipers and lights all work including the high beams. Tires are older bias ply on original split rims but are in good condition. Locking hubs work correctly in both front wheels and the Hi - Low transfer case shifts fine and trucks drives fine in both ranges.
Windshield and side glass are cracked and need replacing, but truck will comes with a spare very good condition 1960 windshield. Also will include and original back glass window too. Interior has been repainted at some point in the past also. I have a pair of original gray inner door panels that will be included with the sale.
Truck is for sale with NO WARRANTY written or implied. I will assist with shipping arrangements including International, but ALL shipping and transport fees are the responsibility of the purchaser. I've shown "local pickup" only because Ebay seems to insist on me estimating shipping costs which I can't figure out how to do.
I'm sure I've left some information you're interested in please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Vehicle is for sale locally so I will reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells. Thanks for looking !
