1949 International Harvester kb3 KB3 Additional Info:

  • Selling my 1949 International Harvester KB3 restomod pickup truck, with clean/clear Florida title in my name. Awesome vehicle to run and drive---(requires lots of discussion and waving of the left hand, etc when in use).
  • There is over 30k miles on this little pickup since completion. ALL items are functioning ie: lights, blinkers, high/low, horn, wiper, Every gauge is accurate, GPS odometer is accurate as well as the GPS mapping that goes with the truck. The fenders and hood are important items, instead of open wheel, especially in rainy Florida.
  • Updated frame from Dodge Dakota to include PS PDB and a nice highway gear. Brakes straight and true. Rides smooth at 65 mph in Overdrive gear. Rear end has been rebuilt. Trans is a 3 speed auto with overdrive and lock up converter via the two toggle switches on the left dash. Shifts perfectly.
  • Motor is a 318 out of a 1971 Dodge Charger--rebuilt--new carb and valve cover gaskets recently.
  • Aluminum 4 core radiator with electric fan keeps this at ideal temp always.
  • Tires, rims, battery and dual exhaust are new as is driveshaft and U-joints. Seatbelts and leather headrests in place. New factory headliner and heat shield matting. It was completely rewired with updated fuse block and wires and no electrical problems or gremlins.
  • This is my daily driver and I use it for everything. I am 5'8" and I fit great although I would imagine that a large pot belly and over 6' might be tight especially with the original steering wheel.
  • The windshield rolls in and out like new and the windows roll up and down with some guidance with one hand.
  • This is complete and has 30k of driving to back it up at a cost of well over $25k to build.
  • I had it sold on eBay and the buyer neither contacted nor communicated--I see that eBay has removed them from the site---Thanks
  • Terry 321-695-4332 8:30-7:30pm EST
  • I can assist with loading -- conveniently located in my garage in Winter Park Florida. Buyer responsible for sorting shipping and costs. Must be paid in full in 7 days-$1000 deposit is due with in 24 hrs and is nonrefundable and truck is to be removed with in 10 days of end of auction.
  • Cash or wire transfer complete payment.
  • The box in the bed is simply a removable tool box, it contains a tire jack and odds and ends but is not bolted down and can be lifted out.
