1966 International Harvester Scout Original Additional Info:

International Harvester Scout . Condition is Used. We have went thru this vehicle top to bottom, good daily driver, or win a car show or two. We have already won a few car shows with it. In perfect running condition, everything works on it. Most of the truck is original and the only issue that we can think of is that there is a little slop or play in the steering and this is only due to the steering box. We were thinking of installing some custom power steering and air, but the wife said no more, she wants it gone. The top comes off and fun to drive. If you know anything about these vehicles you know that the bench seat option is very rare. Custom diamond tucked interio, paint, interior brand new. We went thru suspension, new tanks, new gauges, new carpet, new just above everything. New brakes, ball joints, u- joints, etc. and if it had any wear, we replaced it. Engine has fresh rebuild on it and transmission seals, etc. have been gone thru. You are purchasing a solid truck that not only drive around, but win some car shows. This build was done in 2019 and truck has been trailed to shows and only driven on cruise nights. Less than 500 hundred miles has been put on this truck and is ready for you to enjoy. You are responsible for all transport fee's and picking this vehicle up. I am not going to warranty this vehicle only because I don't know who you are nor do I know how you'll treat the truck once in your possession. This truck is one of the slickest, nices, scout 800's that you ever see. Also to you that are not familiar with a truck like this or these scout 800's, they are very rare, small, and unique, definitely cool. This truck is shorter than a small S10 Chevy truck and my wife drove it, none smoker, no animals. The seat in the rear alone cost me 1200 dollars and was a rare original option. The dirt in the bed is only from the kids, they wanted to ride in the back . And remember, this is a convertible, so you can take the top off during the spring and enjoy the sun! I installed an upgraded stereo system with a in dash DVD/GPS player for the wife and kids. Rims are true bead lock rims and the real deal. We spent the following:New paint and body: $ 7,500.00Suspension & mechanical: $ 8,500.00Wheels & Tires: $ 2,450.00New Electrical, gauges, winch, lights, battery, stereo system, etc.: $ 6,545.00Body panels, trim, grill, etc.: $ 5,400.00Interior: $ 3,400.00
Miscellaneous(Windows, regulators, gaskets, seals, new door handles inside and out, new roll up windows, vents, knobs, etc.) $ 4,200.00
I don't even think this is everything we have in it, but its what I can think of at this time. We spent 2 years building this truck. Entire bottom has been undercoated as well. Everything from window regulators, to new door handles, locks, etc. gaskets, to hand painting by a pro the international logo, it has been done. We are just wanting to move onto another project that we have and think that we have dumped enough money into this rig. We know we will never get everything out of it and are into this one deep. Our loss is your gain, but people please be fair and keep in mind that we will not take nothing for this truck, its just way too nice. I hope I've answered everyone's questions and you get the gest of how much has been done to this awesome truck! Thank you all again and happy bidding!
