79 International Scout II 4x4

1979 International Harvester Scout Base Additional Info:

79 International Scout II 4x4 4 cylinder 3 speed manual runs and drives power steering and power brakes front disc and bench seat. 4 new tires one went flat so pictures show spare I do have matching tire and wheel. I have owned a few Scouts and restored 2 of them. This scout runs and drives but like all the other Scouts I had it needs floors and braces and will also need rockers. I purchased this Scout because it is a great candidate for a resto. The quarter panels and the wheel houses are in really nice shape. In the cargo area there is also some rot, but not half as bad as my last resto. I had Midas addition Scouts on the past, but I really like the 4 cylinder and 3 speed which is much quicker than I expected extremely fun to drive around. I installed a new starter and battery and also a electric fuel pump to get it running. It will need rear brake lines and some rust repair to get it on the road.
