Video ....copy and paste this link.... https://m.youtube.com/results?search_query=1966+international+pickup+for+sale+in+Boise
There truck has NO RUST on the body. The frame and undercarriage have NO RUST. The bed..NO RUST. The interior--- NO RUST.
The tailgate closes like its supposed to. firm but easy. No handle or latch issues. NONE.
The doors are not sagging. They close nicely.
The chrome and special or custom stainless trim are very very nice. Newer windshield and rubber. Slightly tinted glass. Dome light has clear and bright bulb..lights up cab inside extremely well at night. All dash lights work. Radio light, heater control lights, gauge lights, high beam, turn signal lights etc... ALL WORK. Bright and Clean. All gauges work. Gas, temp, oil, speed, volt, etc.
Defrost works as well as heater, low and high on motor as well.
Wipers work, two speed I think.
Brakes are newer and stop the truck evenly, without any noises, vibrations, pulsating, etc. NICE and firm and solid...
No noises in front end when turning or going over bumps. NONE.
Four wheel drive works ..I used it once a few weeks ago on a steep grave driveway. POSI REAREND AS WELL. WORKS AS IT SUPPOSED TO. NO FUNNY NOISES. NO ISSUES
The Transmission is smooth and shifts very nicely. ALL GEARS ARE QUIET AND SMOOTH. CLUTCH DOES NOT MAKE ANY NOISE AND NO SLIPPING. NONE.
Engine starts instantly cold or warm. NO lifter noise. NONE. NO oil leaks..really...NONE. No smoke, not even when you start it. NONE.
The engine is quiet and smooth. Clean and obviously well cared for.
I put a new water pump on it. Bearing was making noise, and had a little play.
I have the orignal oil bath air cleaner. Sticker still on it ... nice shape.
Tires all match, good tread, not wore out.
Exhaust is dual and no leaks. Quiet, not teenager glass packed out.
You could recover the seat, with the original pattern and material..still available from SMS IN SANDY OREGON.
You could send the radio out and have it modernized to accept fm and bluetooth etc etc...
Its not a show quality paint job. Has some blemishes and is not perfect...BUT.... its THE NICEST...BY FAR... INTERNATIONAL IVE SEEN OR OWNED....EVER.
The truck gets attention and people STOPPING AND TURNING AROUND ETC...CONSTANTLY. I MEAN EVERY TIME I DRIVE IT...
The truck goes straight down the road, and handles every bit as nice as it looks. Its dependable and not a covered up pile of rust.
If you need a frame off, show truck, this is not it. If you want an extremely well cared for two owner truck till 2019, that never left the zip code it was sold in 53 years ago, this one would be hard to beat.
I happen to like the look of a standard cab better than the crew cabs, and know, its usually one or two people riding in a rig 93% of the time- but the crew cabs are cool.
You can put a camper on this truck, and or tow a boat, or trailer with toys, and it will steal the show over 50-70k new trucks. Really... and again, those are nice trucks, but, so is this one. It just has all the right stuff.
I dont need it, but sure thought I did when i got it. I have gotten rid of almost 30 vehicles in the last few months. Mostly junk and fair condition stuff. I have no other internationals to sell, just this one.
Thanks for reading and looking at it.
I will have a u toob video uploaed later and it will be titled " 1966 International Pickup for sale in Boise "
PLEASE....DO NOT BUY IT IF YOU DONT HAVE ABILITY TO PAY FOR IT>>> I will want a 500 paypal deposit. and paid before the truck is picked up. NO MONKEY BUSINESS... SMILES.
