I am selling my International S1600 SuperTruck. It starts easily, runs great, shifts good, and drives smooth. I have just installed a smooth running International 6.9 IDI diesel engine with 151k on it. Why a 6.9 IDI you ask? Easy, because there is no computer, no driver module, no maf sensors, no wire harnesses hidden beneath valve covers, you can reach down and touch any of the glow plugs (= easy to change), parts are cheap, engines are cheap, the injector fuel pressure can manually be adjusted, etc. If an EMP hit this truck, I could have it running in an hour. The engine was swapped by Kelley Automotive of Verdigris in 2017, when it also received all new engine gaskets and fuel rail o-rings. The engine has 151k, the odometer reads 321k, but that number is only good for the cab and chassis, as essentially all other components have been changed. (motor, axles, running gear, etc.) This engine will accept aftermarket turbos, and can be swapped to 7.3 if so desired. (The 6.9 is the same lower cast as a 7.3, so they swap easily and fit without mounting bracket modifications) However, this engine has no lack of power, and is faster than a typical non-turbo, and is coupled with a 5 speed Spicer transmission with Hi/Lo rear differential, so it can be driven like a 10 speed. (10 Speed Spicer configuration) Though it won't be winning any races, it will pull ANYTHING you put behind it, uphill from a standstill. Stacks, chrome bumpers, diamond plate running lights, Lund cab visor, custom paint and pinstriping, true dual stacks - It has more custom details than I can list, and it sits on very nice 22.5" Alcoa Aluminum wheels with like new tires all around. In-bed diamond plate tool box. The paint is NOT perfect, but looks very nice all around from about 10 feet. There are various small imperfections, including chips and scratches - but again, you have to be up close to really see them. This truck needs absolutely nothing to be a daily driver, go to work, or pull your toys across the continent. The AC is all there but needs work. This truck is the CENTER of attention anywhere it goes. Guys in trucks will purposely mess up traffic just to pull up next to me and ask questions about it. I have come out of stores or pubs to find people taking pictures with my truck on several occasions. It is a very unique rig, and is guaranteed to turn heads every time you drive it. The tags are up to date, and I have a clean, green, lien free, Oklahoma title - ready to go!
