1965 International Harvester Scout Additional Info:
This auction is a 2-for, you get the 1965 full cab with a roof rack, and a 1961 half cab with a second motor but no axles or transfer case. We could only get the white one to run for a few seconds, definitelyhas fuel problems and maybe worse. When I bought the red one I was told the engine had been rebuilt and ran a few years before they started robbing parts off it to keep another one running. Then the axles were taken and so on. But the engine is still in it and I figured it could be put into the white one. Or if you like the half cab better, you could just swap everything else over into it. Anyway, here are a pair of scouts with clear titles and you can decide. If you don't want to ship both we will pull the engine from the red one and put it into the back of the white one for shipping. I was told the white 1965 was a limited edition with red carpet and door panels, plus it has the roof rack. I was offered a couple hundred for just the roof rack but didn't want to part it out. Both have rust right behind the doors where the mud catch's behind the gas tank.
You can call me in the evenings, four zero six 538 six six six six. If you don't have at least a five plus feed back score call first or don't bother to bid, tired of the scammers who don't pay. This is a fairly solid with the exception of those spots I've mentioned, never been driven on salted roads as Montana never salted the roads in our area, and we are a high desert are with only about 12 inches of precipitation a YEAR. I know someone who can deliver it to you for a reasonable price, call me and I'll ask him for a quote. We do have clear title, in my name. .. Thanks for checking it out. Tim, four zero six 538- six six six si, I can't here the phone when working, welding or grinding, so evenings are best, keep trying!!!
