1966 International Harvester 1200D Additional Info:

Selling my 1966 International Travelette Crew Cab. If you want the rarest truck in town this is the one! Amazing Patina! All Original! Truck was ordered for the Portland Railroad where it worked and sat in the yard most of it's life. It was then bought by a gentlemen in Oregon who had it for almost 30 years. I brought it down to California to fully restore it. However, the patina is so amazing and the truck is so original, I think it needs to be kept as is. I'm an International nut and I have too many projects right now. I've been using this truck as my daily for the last year and it's never failed me! I drive it almost everyday with confidence.
Mechanical:
It's got a 345 V8 that runs awesome! I've done, oil, plugs, wires, coil, etc. Fires right up! 4 Speed Manual Trans that shifts flawlessly! Clutch works perfect! Rebuilt Steering Box...Truck drives strait and steering wheel is super tight! All lights work! Has dual tanks that both work! New Battery! Brakes are very strong and tight. 4x4 works flawlessly! Locking Hubs! New ignition. I would put new tires on the truck fairly soon. They have plenty of tread and hold air perfectly, but they have some cracks on the sidewalls. Also, fuel gauge does not work..I'm not sure if its a wire or in the tanks. A couple of the windows are cracked. It's all flat glass though..It's pretty cheap to have them cut.
Body:
Body is very strait. Has some rust on rear bed corners. However, the rest of the truck is solid. I would do new floor boards..but it's nothing urgent. Undercarriage is pretty dry..just some surface rust that can be easily addressed down the road. The Rust is very minimal over all for a truck of this age that came from Oregon.
The sky is the limit with this truck. Drive as is or....
These trucks are extremely rare so I'm asking $13,000 OBO. Please only call if you're serious. I also do not need help selling.
I'm open to out of state buyers and shipping as well.
Thanks for your time and God bless!
