1972 International Harvester Other Additional Info:
I'm selling my 72 IH Travelette project. As is. It's in the middle of a low end restoration. Almost all the body work is complete. Its 2wd with a 304 and TF auto 6ft bed. I've welded in new floors, repaired the area under the windshield, installed new windshield and painted the cab inside and out. I also installed an 85 Chevy Blazer tank and wired fuel gauge to work! It has new brakes all around also. Cooper Discovery tires with good tread. I also have the matching paint to finish the hood fenders and bed which are almost done body work wise and everything that isn't painted blue is in the first coat of primer. I welded a flat steel bed over the original IH bed because it was Swisscheese. I intended to fix this as a daily driver not a show car. I have more pictures if anyone is interested. Lots of work has been done and there's over $3000+ invested in parts and paint alone plus my initial purchase price of 1200$. Its a great project for a 4wd conversion since its leaf springs in the front. I should be able to supply almost everything needed to finish the project completely (not the 4wd conversion). The black seat in the picture does not go with it. I have the original blue seats to go with it but they need recovering. More pictures are available upon request. Unfortunately I just have too many projects and I need to move on from this one to focus on my other ones. I will gladly answer any questions, I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff. Also its worth noting that this truck is currently registered and insured. It is currently running and driving with the turn of the key.The location is Farmington, CT.(NOTE: The VW bus that's in the background of the second picture is not for sale )
