1969 International Harvester Scout Additional Info:
1969 International (IH) Scout 800A. 304 V8, T18 4 speed, Dana 20 t-case, Dana 44 rear with Powr-Lok, Dana 30 front, 3.73 gears. Line Setting Ticket (LST) lists it as a Doll-Up-Scout and some of the trim is the same found on special edition models. Upgraded interior with door panels, floor covering, and rear seat. Originally from out west, then came back east where it developed some rust and rot in the quarter panels and floors. It should be considered a restoration piece that's in restorable condition. Frame is solid but has surface rust. The engine has some miles and it's a little tired but still runs good. A spare 304 engine from another 800A is available and could be run as is or definitely rebuildable.
Some other spare parts are available and will be included if price reaches $2000: sliding rear windows, original black front seats, roll bar, a few misc. parts. The structure of the body is still good but it needs a lot of work, make sure you understand what that's really all about. Runs, moves, and stops so it can be transported. Please contact me if you have questions, thanks.
