1955 International Harvester Other Additional Info:
NO TITLE I WILL PROVIDE A BILL OF SALE Selling a barn find 1955 international R100 short bed pickup. I bought this with the intention of putting the IH body onto a short bed Dodge Dakota chassis. The engine is missing the cylinder head and other parts and I consider it junk. Trans is a 3 speed manual untested. There are no brake drums or parts on the axles, they were all frozen when the truck was found and were removed to get it rolling. Ford ranger wheels were modified to fit over the larger IH hubs again just to get it rolling. I did not care since I was going to use a Dakota chassis anyway. The truck is straight but does have rust of course, but is certainly good enough for a rat rod project. Worst rust is the bottom of the doors and the bed floor. There is no windshield and one of the small back windows is broken. Truck rolls and steers fine. I also purchased a 1993 Dakota sport with a V6 engine and 5 speed transmission which runs and drives fine and has a rot free frame. If the truck sells the winning bidder has the option of buying the Dakota as well for $300 more. It will need a battery to run but I can start it up for the winning bidder, engine and trans are fine, brakes work, etc. I have too many projects and not enough time, so this one has to go. The truck has no paperwork but does have a serial number plate, here in NY it is not hard to get a transferable registration (title) as long as the serial number is there. Feel free to ask questions though Ebay, call, or text 845-233-1589 if you have any questions. $100 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end via paypal, balance cash at pickup. Truck must be paid for within 7 days of auction end, I can store it for up two two weeks after the auction but it MUST be paid for within 7 days of auction end. If you are local to me I may be able to deliver one or both of the trucks for a reasonable fee depending on my schedule. Both trucks being sold as is where is, I know nothing about the long term history of either vehicle.
