1979 International Scout Rallye 4X4. 86,212 Original miles, 345 V8, 4spd T-19, Original Arizona Truck, no body rot or rust in fenders, rocker panels, or quarter panels. Slight amount of rot on edges of floor pans shown in pictures. The good: drives well, steers straight, runs well, shifts well, brakes are good, tires are fair. Just replaced water pump and had radiator cored. AC blows cold, everything works. Parts that need help: gas gauge does not work – prob needs sending unit, front bumper has a bend inward, couple of minor dents in the quarter panels, smog pump is noisy but it did pass CA smog in January. Does not have back bumper, could use a new set of matching door locks. I bought this one in Arizona and drove it home. Had hoped to spend time renovating and fixing it up but with work getting busy and a 4 year old son I have not had the time. I need to find something a bit newer that I can just drive. This is a beautiful Scout in need of some restoration. That said, I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. Please feel free to call me or ask any questions through ebay. Wanted to add: I forgot to mention I also have the thick volume 1 and volume 2 International Harvester truck manuals for Scout II. It's about 3 inches thick between the two and full of all the technical and service details. They are in very good condition.
