1953 International Harvester L110 ,Body off restoration California Truck Additional Info:

Up for sale is my 1953 International Harvester 1/2 ton short bed pickup truck. The truck is a 1952 Model sold in 1953 and registered as a 1953. this is a two owner Southern California truck bought new at Leo Bourcher IHC of Long Beach CA. and has never left the area. owned by an electrical contractor and was extremely well cared for through the years.it was sold to a family member and it went into warehouse storage for many years and the in 2003 the owner started a complete body of, every nut and bolt restoration. 2013 it was finished.the owner was an Aviation mechanic and restores Vintage Airplanes so you know how meticulous the restoration was. The truck had zero rust and a very straight body before restoration and now has an extremely nice high end body and paint job. new glass and weather striping.new wiring, all gauges rebuilt, when the dash was out it was chrome plated along with the bumpers and trim pieces. all fresh interior. heater and wipers work as they should, horn does not work. the frame, front end rear end and suspension were all rebuilt and powder coated. the original 220 cu.in engine was rebuilt with .30 over pistons and balanced. the stock 3 speed column shift transmission rebuilt. flywheel, clutch and drive line are all balanced. it has been changed to 12 volt electrical system. the mileage on the truck now is 53000 original miles with only 1900 miles since the restoration was completed. It is very dependable, starts instantly hot or cold, (carburetor is from a later GMC electric choke ) . runs as smooth as can be and has a ton of torque. it likes to run at 55-65 Mph with the 4.11 gears. the brakes are excellent and steering is very tight. There is loads of money and hundreds and hundreds of hours in the restoration and is very near impeccable. I do not have the stock wheels or hubcaps. the reserve is set at a very fair amount and priced to sell. for any further info. call 949-429-5382.
