1976 International Harvester Scout TERRA Additional Info:

This truck was originallyfrom southern Arizona and lived there until I bought it and shipped it to Michigan. The body is solid steel and has never had any patch work.It has had aframe Off restoratio, finished last spring. It has not seensnow or rain sense the restoration.Odometer shows 23184 and had rolled over 100K. This truck was taken completely apartwith 22143 miles on the odometer. most everything was rebuilt or replaced.The frame was stripped down and shot with epoxy primer then coated withCERAMIC CHASSISCOAT (ceramic impregnated chassis paint).All brake lines and trans lines were replaced with stainless steel lines.The 345 motor, 727 trans and Dana 44axles were all rebuilt. The trans has a deep aluminum pan and the axles have 3.73 gears and aluminum covers. The T-case has a twin stick shifter.the motor has an EFI conversion by HAMILTON FUEL INJECTION, It starts and runs much better than stock. It is a TBI system using Chevy parts, so replacement parts are easy to find at most any parts store. All electronic parts for the EFIare housed in a custom compartment below the dashAn RPT 4 barrel aluminum intake manifold was used. The exhaust is stainless steel and is an exact reproduction of the original factory dual exhaust.
Thecab interior and bed interior were sprayed with DURABAK spray liner, to protect them fromthe elements.The suspension has a 4"SKY JACKER SOFT RIDE system with a RPT reverse shackle system. The drive shafts are custom made by TOM WOODS, the front is a long traveltype to work with the reverse shackle system.This rides and handles very well compared to stock.Tires are DICK CEPEC 33X12.50R15Thewheels are ION 133's 15X8The wire harness is a new factory reproduction by SUPER SCOUT SPECALISTSThe radio is a RETRO SOUND digital radio that looks vintage but sounds great with 2, 6x9 BOSS speakers behind the seats and 2, 5.5" round speakers in the top.Everything on this truck works with the exception of the ac, it has not been recharged, but all the parts are there.I have most of the parts to return this truck to original, including suspension, intake and carb.
