This 1992 Infiniti M30 Convertible is the kind of classic that not everyone knows is out there, but when you look closer, you realize it was the best of its era. This is a limited edition drop-top that's loaded with the best features - including cold-blowing A/C - and shares its fuel-injected motor with a Z-car. So it only gets better on this example that has seen plenty of recent investments and is still offered for a value price.
The M30 is traditionally handsome. It has crisp lines while still showing plenty of rounded curves - including well-flared fenders. The details like to fit especially flush, like the headlights, tail lights, and door handles. And brightwork is kept to a minimum, with just a tasteful amount to highlight the front. So it's the kind of car that looks good today, even if it's ready for vintage plates/registration. It also helps that this one looks so good because it has been given plenty of solid recent investments. You'll especially notice this on the exterior with the White Quartz paint. There has been a recent partial respray to make sure this has a nice glow on the sunlight, and that's exactly what you want on a convertible. Good body lines and a newer convertible top are all part of a package that lets this classic look like a premium Infiniti.
The interior has received the right kind of attention to make sure this feels comfortable and inviting. It's loaded with terrific features like a power driver's seat, power mirrors, power locks, dual airbags, a tilt steering column, and an upgraded AM/FM stereo with USB and Bluetooth. There are also newer covers for key areas like the seats, armrest, dash, and steering wheel. Plus, you have power windows and a power convertible top. That means you can go from enclosed comfort to a wind-in-your-hair experience without leaving your driver's seat. And because the factory air conditioning is blowing cold with R134a refrigerant, you can comfortably enjoy top-down motoring all through the summer season.
Under the hood is a 3.0-liter fuel-injected V6. It's the same engine utilized by the Nissan 300ZX (Z31) and so you get a similar spirited feeling as it powers the rear wheels. But the M30 is about being a sporty luxury machine, and so the four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and cruise control are there to make this a proper all-around cruiser. We have a spreadsheet from the consignor that lists thousands $$$$ in significant investments in maintenance over the last few years. It includes a full transmission service, an alignment, Porsche 944-style front struts, and new tires. So it's a solid driver, and you can confidently cruise it thanks to features like the fully independent suspension, power steering, and four-wheel power disc brakes.
The M30 was only available for four years, and the convertible version was only around for half of that. And since this was a two-year run of a specially-built drop-top, the production figures could possibly be as low as 2500 total. So you're looking at a well-presented and well-invested version of a very cool luxury convertible. That's why you know you can't let this deal slip away, call today!
