1992 Honda Accord WAGON LX Additional Info:

1992 Accord Wagon. I am the second owner of this fine ride. Original owner purchased the car in Wichita ks and was transferred by Boeing to the desert in Southern California where the wagon spent most of its life. After retiring he moved back to Kansas and I purchased the car from him in 2010. Car has obviously been well cared for its entire life. I have garaged it since buying and took care to wash the salt out of the wheel wells and under body during the winter. Interior is very nice and with the exception of the driver's seat being a little threadbare looks great. No rip, tears or burn holes anywhere.
The only body damage is the hood having a wrinkle in it above passenger side head light caused by my wife crashing into the back of my Tundra. New headlight installed and hood bent back into working shape by hand. By no means a pro repair but this car was basic transportation for me and not a show car. Pioneer CD player installe, factory original radio will be included in sale.
A, PWR windows, transmission, brake, steering all work as they should.
The only problem with the vehicle is an intermittent cruise control problem that drove me nuts trying to fix. Several salvage yard parts were swapped in to attempt a fix. No luck but all parts are included in the sale.Cruise may work for days perfectly and then not work for days. Speed senso, reel switc, cruise switches and vacuum control were replaced. Car comes with a spare ECM that I picked up just in case.
Tires are at about half life and should last for some time. Hubcaps are mismatched side to side. Engine burns no oil but I did notice some spots on the floor after it sat for a few months. . Timing belt replaced at 160k. Newer front pads and rotors. Struts 3 years old. Muffler replaced last year. Original owners manual and service records included. The only modification on the car is an aftermarket transmission cooler that I added as an insurance measure. No fart pip, funky air cleaner or other fast and furious modifications were done to car. Car has sat about 4 months. The only reason I am selling is due to having inherited my wife's Element as a daily driver. This car has been stone axe reliable and took us on several trips. Two people can sleep in the back when seats are folded down so this car is great for car camping.
I can meet the auction winner at Kansas City International Air Port or deliver up to 70 miles to a shipper free of charge on my schedule.
Car ready to serve another owner for transportation or would be a gem for a Honda enthusiast. Drive it anywhere with no concerns.
